R.I.P Grandpa

Grandpa Del Mar Hiatt passed away a week ago today. He was such a remarkable man. He died unpredictably.. and we will miss him so much.

We find comfort in the fact that he is reunited with his beautiful wife who proceeded him in 1999. We can visualize how happy he is to be with his daughter Jane who has passed, and his son, Daryl as well.

Grandpa loved everyone. He always had an open ear, and loved to share his stories. He was always positive, and always had positive advice. He loved to laugh and visit. He was the most miraculous man I have met.

We love you so much, Grandpa. We will miss you, but we are so delighted that you are in your paradise with your family whom you love and have missed.

We are excited to know that you will give our little guy a bear hug, and send him down to us when the time comes. Hopefully you will give him good guidance about behaving, and taking it easy on us first time parents.

We are grateful for the Gospel. Without it, we would not have the opportunity to be with Grandpa and the rest of the clan. What an amazing journey we are all on, and what a marvelous place we are working hard to go to when our lives on Earth are complete.

We love you Grandpa! Thank you for being the man you are/were.
