H I A T T : April 2014

Skylar at 3 months

- Eats 4-6 ounces depending on the day and the feeding. Every time she eats she gulps it down as if we have never fed her.

- She wiggles and coos a lot. She is happiest in the morning. Her cranky time is in the evening and lasts about 2-3 hours.

- Like all of us, at the end of the day she wants to be in her jammies. Cranky time can be cut down if we get her into her jammies early enough.

- Skylar enjoys being outside. Just like her brother. Shocker.

- Her sanctuary is our bedroom.

- She loves super soft cuddly blankets. Who doesn't?

- She doesn't mind bath time now. She stares at herself in the mirror the entire time.

- She is so strong. I think she will be an early sitter-upper.

- She is a drama queen and definitely knows what she wants when she wants it.

Kelly 3 Years

- Talking so much better. We can understand him more.

- LOVE LOVES LOVES to cook.

- He is in love with the vacuum. More obsessed really..

- He pees in the potty like a champ. We still have poop accidents. If you can even call them that.

- He changes his clothes every time he goes potty.

- Anytime he sees any kids, he must play with them. He yells, "Hi kids!!" every time he sees any.

- He roams around the street with the other neighborhood kids. He would live outside if we let him.

- He is starting to eat more. It's hard to pin point a favorite food. He does request pancakes or waffles, PB&J, cheese, and of course.. any treats. Sugar is always welcome for this little boy.

- Every day he gives Skylar lots of kisses. He is an amazing big brother. He talks to Skylar and tries to help take care of her.

- School is going well. We think he enjoys it. We still have a communication barrier there - but he comes home happy and gets excited to go. His teacher e-mailed us this, "Kelly greets everyone that comes in and is interested in everyone and everything! He plays well with everyone! It is hard to believe that he is so young, and he is potty trained and everything! He is like a little man already. I think he enjoys school, he always comes in and is ready for action. He is getting the routine down and even shows our new students what to do. I hope this helps a little bit, but from our point of view he is doing great!". We are proud parents.

- Favorite shows: Super Why (this one is the main one currently), Curious George, Up, and Handy Manny. He has a lot of favorites but those are the main ones we rotate between this day and age.
